Ning Deng, Ph.D., is an assistant professor at the Beijing International Studies University, School of Tourism Management. He is also dean of the department of tourism ecommerce and marketing, and the excutive director of the research center for tourism bigdata in BISU. His research interests is destination marketing, with the focus on data mining of User-Generated Content (UGC) and information technology applications in tourism. Ning’s research findings have appeared on several top-tier tourism journals. Before joining BISU, Ning earned his Ph.D. of computer science from Beijing Institute of Technology, and joined Lenovo as a staff researcher for two years.
Teaching:
Bechelor: Python programming basics, Internet product desgin, Internet product operations.
Master: Data mining for tourism research.
